"Our bodies are our gardens, to the which our wills are gardeners."
(W. Shakespeare)
... AND ...
"I've always regarded nature as the clothing of God." (Alan Havhamess)
... week two of the great tomato harvest... about 6-8 today...started last week or so...well, maybe on the 4th...
lots of basil, green tomatoes, hot peppers and awesome pumpkins from seed...
So, today we bought, red, white, vidalia onions, strawberries, two different lettuces, parsley, cilantro, basil, German chamomile, rosemary, some red day lilies, some pink hyacinth, some pink tulips and yellow daffodils...let the planting begin... oh, and we saw Mrs B. at Pesche's too... the car also turned over 100k just before we got there...
After returning from Cayman on the 30th, we see sprouts of green everywhere...the iris, the day lilies, the crocus etc... won't be long now! Can't wait for the 2011 gardening season... transplanted the old indoor palm today:( ... tossed the old stalk and kept the two sprouts...
It is by design that I post the details of my garden and will try to connect that to my spiritual journey...Fr. Bob's spring seminars the last 3 years ('06-'08) have been the eye opener to me...seeing and being aware of His beauty in nature and along my path.
